Our Specialist ASD Rehabilitation Service is tailored for patients with complex mental health needs alongside high-functioning autism spectrum conditions. Our evidence-based, person-centred Model of Care integrates positive behavioural support to reduce challenging behaviours and effectively treat co-occurring mental health symptoms. We foster development of independent living skills and social integration, empowering individuals with the tools needed for successful community discharge.
Who We Support
- Adult (18+) with primary mental illness and secondary ASD diagnosis
- Common conditions: schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder, psychosis, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, PTSD, depression
- Patients may be detained under the Mental Health Act (sections 3, 37, 37/41) or informal
- Some present with forensic histories or substance misuse
- Our approach addresses behaviours that challenge
